In this 3-week safari, we explore all the natural highlights of South
Africa, including its most spectacular scenery, its magnificent wildlife and its most visited attractions. Starting with three days in Cape Town, we journey to the south-western tip of Africa and ride the cable-car to the top of Table Mountain. We then explore the magnificent Garden Route, with its rich scenic beauty and lush evergreen forests, followed by the Drakensberg, South Africa's highest mountain range, and the land of the Zulu people. We then enjoy five magnificent days in the world-renowned Kruger National Park, home to Africa's 'Big 5' species and over five hundred bird species. Finally, we traverse the spectacular escarpment, known as "The Panorama", with its numerous waterfalls, canyons and caves. This tour is made up of our 3 most popular tours - the 'Garden Route', 'Kruger & Mpumalanga' and 'Drakensberg to Durban' Safaris - all condensed into one epic adventure! KRUGER & MPUMALANGA SAFARI (14 DAYS)
Highlights: Kruger National Park, "Big 5" game-viewing, Blyde River Canyon,Panorama, Historic Pilgrim's Rest, Mpumalanga Highlands
This tour is aimed at those wanting the ultimate African mammal and bird
safari while enjoying some of the most magnificent scenery in Southern
Africa. This 14-day tour includes 8 days in the world-famous Kruger
National Park, which boasts an incredible 150 mammals and over 500 bird
species! Here, we hope to see elephant, lion, cheetah, leopard, rhino,
various antelope species, crocodile, hippo and many others. In addition to
the "Big 5" we should also encounter some spectacular birdlife including
bee-eaters, rollers, kingfishers, cuckoos, hornbills, eagles (including
Bateleur), vultures, owls, turacos, storks, and many others. On this tour
we also explore the spectacular eastern escarpment, known as The Panorama,
with its awe-inspiring canyons, caves and waterfalls, and an area with a
rich and fascinating history. We also visit the Mpumalanga Highlands, with

In this breathtaking nature safari, we explore one of the most beautiful
parts of South Africa, the Western Cape's Garden Route. Not only does this
region have rich scenic beauty, with its lush evergreen forests and rugged
coastline, but it also teems with spectacular birds and other wildlife. The
area incorporates the fynbos biome, with a diversity of plants greater than
anywhere else on earth, as well as numerous National Parks and game
reserves, some of which host Africa's Big 5 mammals. This tour has been

This tour is normally conducted in August and September when the wildflowers are in full bloom, but the region is worth visiting at any time of the year. The tour includes some spectacular coastal scenery, birdlife, plantlife, game and cultural experiences, all of which can be enjoyed throughout the year. If you are looking for tranquility, this is the perfect tour for you, as most of the places we visit are rather "off the beaten track". Crisp, clean air and beautiful night skies are a certainty. In Spring, the area really comes alive, when wildflowers of every description cover the valleys in carpets of colour. Please note that this tour must be booked very early for the flower season.

WHALE ROUTE & WINELANDS SAFARI (7 DAYS)

This combined nature and cultural tour incorporates all the main highlights
of the Western Cape, including its spectacular coastline, rugged mountains,
diverse fauna and flora, majestic winelands and its charming historical
character. On this tour, we visit Cape Agulhas, the southern-most tip of
Africa and the dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans! This
tour includes a night in the picturesque and serene village of Swellendam,
South Africa's third oldest settlement, nestled at the foot of the high
Langeberg Mountains, plus we explore the three main wineland areas of
Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl. To end our tour, we stay at the widely
acclaimed Bartholomeu's Klip Game Reserve, where we hope to see numerous
antelope species, zebra, jackal, birdlife and possibly even leopard.

DRAKENSBERG TO DURBAN SAFARI (14 DAYS)

Kwazulu-Natal is a fascinating province from both a natural and cultural
perspective. This region incorporates some of South Africa's most dramatic
scenery - from the high peaks of the Drakensberg to the azure waters of the
St Lucia estuary - and includes world-renowned game reserves, such as
Hluhluwe-Umfolozi, Mkuzi and Ndumo, where we will have the opportunity of
seeing some of Africa's big game and some remarkable birdlife. We start our
adventure high in the Drakensberg (or "Dragon Mountain"), before descending
to the Natal midlands, where numerous battlefields bear witness to the
interaction between the Zulus, British and Afrikaners. We then make our way
to the lush indigenous forests surrounding Eshowe and the magnificent game
reserves of northern Natal. We then continue to Kosi Bay, one of the most
pristine coastal areas of South Africa, teeming with hippos, crocodiles and
tropical fish. Finally we make our way down the subtropical coast via St
Lucia, a RAMSAR protected wetland, to Durban, South Africa's "Holiday City".
